if you are going for health, just bake up the tenders, of dice them for stir-fry with veggies

if you are going for flavor,,

coat them with flour/spices, and throw them in a hot oil skillet

I coated them with flour/instant potatoes, spices and threw them in olive oil. Pretty good.

Bread crumbs? Pfffftttt. Beat and egg, dip chicken in egg and then dredge in flour, and fry. I thought everyone knew that.

Hmmm... I dredge in flour, dip into the beaten egg, then roll in panko, and fry.

If you are not fancy with it just dip in egg or milk, coat with flour and spices and fry. Voila! If I have bread crumbs, panko etc i use them but if I did'nt the above will suffice.

Yeah panko (or bread crumbs) is definitely not the traditional method, but I'm sure that it's good too.

Take your white bread and make bread crumbs out of it. Fresh bread crumbs. No need to toast before or after making the crumbs. Mix bread crumbs and the parm cheese and use to coat your chicken tenders. First dip your tenders in seasoned flour, then in beaten egg - you can use water, milk, or nothing when beating them - then in the bread/cheese mixture. Bake or fry. I usually bake, and drizzle a little butter on them before baking. YUM.

If you are not concerned about healthy eating, consider this. Dip the tenders in buttermilk, then coat with flour, add salt and pepper. Fry them until golden brown. Then add water and flour to the used renderings to make gravy.
