1 8oz. block o' cream cheese at room temperature, just open it up and put it on the plate

drizzle with *****peppa sauce, serve with Ritz crackers (edit: I don't know why "pick-a" is filtered out)

once I start eating it I cannot stop lol, i've been known to get through a half block of that before forcibly stopping myself, disgusted by my unadulterated piggy-ness

edit: although this is not an hors d'oeuvres, i've been seeing that "Mock Apple Pie" recipe on the side of the Ritz boxes since the early 70's, and I always wanted to make one LOL

I make the grape jelly meatballs for potlucks. I'm in Denver now and they are a novelty. I used to live in Boston and they were very, very popular there. For a big office potluck, it was not unusual for 3 or 4 different people to bring them. And they are always the first thing to go!

My son likes the grape jelly meatballs with those little, smoky-flavored wieners in them.

And the Betty Crocker cookbook has a good Polynesian sweet and sour meatball dish with diced green peppers and pineapple tidbits in it.

Oddly enough some people use mustard and grape jelly instead of a tomato-based product. That sounds strange to me.
