Why so many people eager to poo poo a guy willing to teach an object lesson?

People don't eat 50 rice cakes a day. Plenty of people DO suck down soda all day. I know half a dozen that drink 3+ cans, for years. Anything that can contribute to chipping away at a bad habit like that is a good thing!

Also, find me a person who is even capable of adding 10 avocados on top of their usual diet. Yet another reason these naysayers are missing the point - with lots of soda, you can add so much sugar without feeling that you've increased your intake, and destroy your health in a way that is barely possible with solid foods.

Speeding is easy, doesn't feel wrong.. So should cars be banned because of it? Governors put on every vehicle?

But, I'd find it difficult to drink 10 cans of soda a day. I have a hard time getting down the 64oz of water that I try to drink each day.

Personal responsibility. The only lesson that he's teaching is that if you increase your caloric intake without additional exercise.. You're gonna gain weight.

Seems like having to put "Danger, contents may be hot" on a cup of coffee. Or "Do not use in bathtub" on a hairdryer.

Would have been cooler if he did this with beer. And there are a loooot of men that kill a 12 pack in a day, every single day. Forget soda, the alcohol industry should be coming under as much scrutiny as the soft drink makers. Alcohol makes you just as fat and contributes just as much to health problems, if not more, than soda.
