Definitely not! There's different grades of meat for starters. There's different thicknesses.....Smoking - different woods create different flavors. What the pigs grew up eating will immensely affect the flavor. Not all pigs are as fat as others so there could be more meat in the bacon than fat. I prefer to buy from local farms and that bacon tastes absolutely NOTHING like that Oscar Meyer crap on the shelves of grocery stores. That stuff is NASTY.
