I picked up a tray of chicken drumsticks that was marked down for clearance in the meat dept., so I will be baking those in the oven tonight. I do season them; we remove the skin before we eat them. Probably will also have some mixed veggies, and mashed potatoes. I have been craving cornbread for some reason. Maybe I will make that too!
out of town for business overnight,,,, ate light and healthy all day,,,, then I see a WENDYS next to the hotel
so I stopped for a 1/2 lb burger diet soda and small fry-

I took the free ham we got with the Thanksgiving turkey out of the freezer last night and will put it in the oven. And I have some leftover cream from making butterscotch candy. So I thought I'd make ham and pea fettucine with fennel.
I was just thinking the same thing. Yours sounds pretty darned good too.

I'm having the leftover pot roast from the other night. Just warming in the microwave and be done with it. It's either that or a bowl of cereal. <hanging my head in shame and embarrassment because of all the fine cooks we have here and I'm a failure in that department>
for me who knows, whatever the hospital feels like serving. I have heard their food is pretty good though. For spoiled brat, daughter brought over some wonderful prime rib/mushroom soup and garlic bread.
