After breakfast I am putting a big ole chicken on to stew, as we used to say. When it is about done, take it out, cut it up and make some broth or stock. Later in the day I will put the peices back and add the noodles. Of course the veggies will cook with the chicken: or I think instead of that I will just stick Ms Chicken in the large crock pot. We are having fruit salad as well and maybe another veggie. I have some broc. that had better get cooked or get dumped.

Yum! It's also good with sauteed cabbage in place of the noodles. Cut into about 1" squares, saute in butter until bright green, then layer in your lasagna as you would noodles. You can use the same technique to make a deconstructed cabbage roll.
