Change of plans. We are having TGIF'S Jack Daniels bacon cheeseburgers with seasoned fries, ICED tea, and for dessert, Tennesee whiskey cake with vanilla ice cream.

Grilled fish tacos with red cabbage slaw, homemade guac, and sour cream.

Mango salad (with red onion, red pepper, cilantro & lime juice) on the side.

Delicious!

DH wasn't hungry after we shared a fresh Beefsteak tomato from the garden, so I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich.

I went to Chick-Fil-A and picked up an original chicken sandwich combo meal with waffle fries and sweet iced tea.

I got some great fresh corn at the farmers market yesterday and have to eat it while it is still fresh and sweet, so we are working dinner around the corn. I am going to take a couple of steaks out of the freezer, spoiled brat will grill them with some veggies and that will be about it: grilled steak, veggies and corn. I might slice some fresh tomatoes I am about to pick and serve them over cottage cheese.

We had pinto beans with serrano chiles and they smelled like dirty socks. I feel a milkshake coming on for me. BTW, DH loved dinner. Good thing there are ribs left for him to cook on Monday. I will probably be having another milkshake.
Sounds like a nightmare SXM! I hope your next dinner is more to your liking.

Dear Mom had a fall yesterday and she's lucky. No broken bones but a nasty cut on her wrist.

I'm making Eggplant Parm today for her; one of our family favorite dinners but a lot of work.

Happy Sunday all and enjoy your eats!

Using one of gentleart's vintage recipe from the recipe forum tonight. Porcupines with two additions, adding shredded cabbage to the meatballs and adding a bit of lemon to the sauce. (I'm combining my cabbage roll recipe with the porcupine which was similar) I'm at a loss what to serve alongside as it has veggie/starch/protein in it already. I think maybe make the rest of the cabbage into bubbles and squeak.
