We are having brown sugar ham, turkey breast, stove top, gravy, mashed taters, sliced fresh tomatoes, and asparagus. I might even sautee some mushrooms.
Have to clear out space in the overfull freezer so I'm thawing some pork ribs and will fix them in the oven rather than grilling (don't like the clean up) so ribs, leftover potato salad and lots of beautiful local strawberries. Strawberries are at their peak here now.
I put a pot roast complete with home grown carrots, potatoes, and a few other veggies in the crock very early this am. I also just added some locally grown green beans. I think we will have either cold slaw or fruit salad, but am not quite sure. Dinner is about 2 hours away. The cold slaw is made, it is either tonight or tomorrow night.
A cherry pomegranate nonfat Greek yogurt, 3 slices of whole wheat challah bread with healthy-style margarine & strawberry spread and a mug of black organic tea with a teaspoon of sugar.
Curly's ribs with green beans and potato salad for sides.
