Getting ready for a little trip on Wednesday, so we'll just have franks and beans tonight, and use up the last of the tomatoes.

Dining at Chef and the Farmer on Wed. Pretty excited.

Tried the Fiesta Cajun All on the chicken yesterday (SO GOOD!) and trying the other Fiesta Seasoning I got on some shrimp or chicken. Not sure which yet. Will serve up rice alongside and the requisite tomato salad. I will miss my tomatoes since their season is ending. Those "hothouse" or trucked in from wherever place tomatoes don't taste as good.

Tonight is really easy night - I have a Cook's ham steak that I'm going to fry up, and for sides, Velveeta Shells & Cheese and some steamed broccoli. I wanted to cook up a package of frozen spinach to go with it, but the husband and dog turned their noses up at that - so broccoli it is.

I LIKE frozen spinach - I do not know what's WRONG with those two!

It's kind of hot so I thought I'd make tuna salad sandwiches on rye with lettuce and tomato, home made red potato salad, dill pickles and unsweetened iced tea.
