BBQ chicken thighs, steamed green beans... and the little ones talked me into tater tots. Which I accidentally called "tater tiits" when texting the Mr. with the dinner menu

shiritaki noodle spaghetti with a sausage marinara sauce. I was out of parm, but the noodles themselves aren't great for this application -- they don't untangle so it's hard to eat. Next time, I'll use them in a baked spaghetti where a knife & fork are typical. Otherwise, it tasted pretty good -- the shiritaki noodles are sort of like a cross between regular pasta and spaghetti squash, taste-wise, and a bit rubbery/bouncy texture wise. But only 15 calories in a huge serving makes them so much better!

Well, I called for takeout but no one answered the phone so I was forced to cook. I made a spicy teriyaki chicken stir fry with snow peas, red onions, and green and red peppers. It wasn't bad. I had also intended to make some rice to go along with it, but that never happened. Maybe tomorrow.

Been out hunting birds in NE Montana for 9 days. Was headed home Sunday when a fuel line ruptured on my truck. A hard line, no less. Had to wait for the part to get delivered from Denver so I've been now with my 2 dogs 11 days in a truck camper, currently 6 hours from home. We ate lots of pheasant and rice, but tonight it is beef! Piece of Ribeye, wild rice and green beans. Leftovers on the stove go to the kids, lol.
