burgers on brioche buns with griddled onions and smoked mozz, with edamame on the side.
there would have been tomato on there too, but SOMEBODY hoovered it up (in addition to the bag of popcorn, and the leftover halloween candy, and the sandwich ham slices) in the 10 minutes between when she and I got home -- and then proceeded to hoover up the edamame (I steamed a pkg that's supposed to have 8 servings, I figure 3-4 for real people) and I barely got 10 pods. I had to leave the table b/c it was just too gross sitting there while she ate them, it was like watching a video on fast forward.

Chinese take-out: Chicken chow mein, Mongolian beef, steamed potstickers and white rice. I had a taste for tofu so I picked some up from the market and will add that to the dishes (YUM!)
I found large thick pork chops on sale (3 for $3.69) today, so I battered and deep fried them to a crispy golden brown, made mashed potatoes, country gravy, corn on the cob, and dinner rolls. Root beer to drink. I have one left over for a sandwich tomorrow.
Tonight its smothered pork chops(pork chops in onion gravy) and green beans and bacon with rosemary sourdough bread toasted and we put the chops on the bread to get the juice all soaked up.
