Well, the weather forecasters are in their first Winter 2015 tizzy about Snowmaggedon and the ungodly snow totals we're supposed to have around here by mid-afternoon tomorrow (by us, like 8" or so), so husband and I have decided that tomorrow we'll stay home - maybe whip up a pair of snowshoes for Chester the dog or something, while huddling in front of the oven for residual warmth and reading by candlelight.

Today we're going to Home Depot (we have to buy a shovel), the bank, the post office, the cigarette store, the grocery store, and the bar for lunch. We've decided on Sloppy Joes and chips for tonight, probably the pot roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, baking powder biscuits, etc. tomorrow, and maybe hot beef sandwiches with some oven roasted potatoes and sour cream Sunday for the game with the leftover pot roast and gravy.

If we ACTUALLY get an inch of snow, I'm going to be really surprised. Sigh. Usually they (the weather dudes) start this nonsense AFTER Thanksgiving!

I'd love to rep you on this, but I could not.

That dinner sounds wonderful, so comforting. Absolutely yum!

It's just me for dinner tonight, so I'm thinking something nice and spicy: Hunan-style pepper steak and potatoes.
