We are short on ingredients for our American Chop Suey macaroni dish, but we are making it anyway. Only have 1/2 lb. of meat and no onions. Dried onions and extra mushrooms will have to do.

My husband took today off and we went Christmas shopping. Yikes! The stores were crowded at 10:30! We went out to lunch so I am going to skip dinner. My husband is making shrimp and roasted asparagus for himself and the kids.
