But yeah, CYA. Years ago my son's Superman cape came with a warning that it would not allow my child to fly, I kid you not.
Oh, there's tons of those stories.. "Caution, contents may be hot" on a cup of coffee.. "Do not take orally" on a tube of Preparation H.. Tag on the hair dryer cord "Do not use in tub"

I think the induce vomiting is an urban legend. I'd heard the same thing about Listerine. .And there's been stories lately about kids dying from eating the new 'pods' for washing machines.

My favorite is the ad where the dirt bikes turn into space ships and fly off and the subtitle warns you not to try it at home. Darn, I was all ready to convert my dirt bike into a space fighter and fly off. Ruined my fun.

A close second though is the package of pecans that has the big warning "May contain tree nuts". Gee, I sure hope so. I paid $12 a pound for the contents. The bag had better contain tree nuts.

My nephew told me about a young child who jumped out of a second story bedroom window and died. He was wearing a superhero costume and apparently thought he could fly. You never know.

My favorite of these lately was a commercial I saw for invisiline braces. THe commercial has a set of upper teeth floating around, and a set with an overbite, and the small print below says "Not actual clients". Really? You don't have teeth with no people attached to them for patients? Hunh. Who knew???
