I would not count Chipoltle as a take away place. To me it is a place I can call up on phone and order and either pick up or have delivery

The general store in the center of town is 4.5 miles away. You can get a hot meal there. The next closest place is a pizza joint, take out only; in the summer they have a picnic table out in front if you want to eat there; they are 12 miles away.

OP, can you define what you mean by takeaway? Pretty much everyone who sells food allows you to take it away, so can you narrow it down a bit?

Nearest to me would be a Deli about 5 miles away. Not cheap but they make great Philadelphia style steaks and hoagies.

There is a diner (which I can see from my back window) which is less than 2 short blocks from my apt. that I had takeaway from it periodically.

We have several places about a mile down the road.
Yeah, at first I was confused what takeaway was. Is it equivalent to the pop vs soda thing?

About a mile away also. Close enough to drive sober, but far enough to get lost if they legalize pot in my state and I have to walk.

There are at least a dozen restaurants that do carryout within a block of my house. That said, we seldom get takeout.

Takeaway is the Irish/British/Aussie (and a few other places) version of carry-out, take-out, or a "to go" order. Pop v. soda is regional, this one depends on what country you're in.

A place called Aggie's...they sell pizza, subs, gyros, pasta, salads, lo mein, egg rolls, chicken wings, fried rice...

Basically, it's a pizza/sub/pasta place, but the people who run the place are Asian, so they threw their spin in there. :P

It's delicious, very affordable and very fast. We get stuff from there more often than we should.
