That all sounds really good.

Can I ask what ceviche is?
Never heard of it.

For me:
Grilled Lobster
Grilled rare Ribeye
Fresh baked bread
Bottle of the best smoothest whiskey
And a 12 pack of Surly Beer
I think someone asked this awhile back, but it is still a fun topic: first of all, if I knew it was my last meal I probably would not enjoy it, no matter what it was, but here is what I think I would want:

Snow crab legs and not frozen, strictly fresh
a great green salad with home made blue cheese dressing
fresh green beans cooked crisp tender and topped with a little garlic, lemon and butter
a really good quality bottle of wine. Though I love my red wine, I think I would choose white with the crab.
and maybe a nice brandy for after dinner, with a small plate of imported cheeses.

An interesting thing to note is that many American death row inmates ask for flavorful and spicy Mexican food because their prison food is so bland.

Personally, I would want a Greek salad to start, tender roast beef, parsnips, potatoes and Yorkshire puddings with gravy for mains and a rich chocolate mousse for dessert.

My last meal request, if asked today would be tzatziki with pita bread and kalamata olives. Then for the main course maqluba.. Please throw in some stuffed grape leaves served with lemon slices. Dessert would be blackberries with different goat cheeses. Beer to drink, probably a Bass.

Now all this will probably be something different if you ask next week. I haven't had Middle Eastern food in awhile and I am jonesing for it.

Hmmm ...

Start with donuts and bacon (breakfast foods that I rarely eat for the obvious reasons) ...

then a chicken salad sandwich from my local deli (don't know what they put in it but it's yummy) for the "lunch" portion ...

then prime rib with grilled mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes for the "dinner" part (with a big strong strawberry/watermelon margarita) ...

and finish with chocolate chip ice cream.

(Yeah, I know that's like 3 meals, but I would want to get 'em all in. )

I would die totally stuffed but happy!!
