KENTWOOD, Mich., Jan. 14 (UPI) -- A Michigan bakery worker is facing charges stemming from allegations he tainted granola bar mix by adding the wrong kind of nuts -- the metal kind.

Police said Ruben Giovanni Gramajo, 22, of Grand Rapids, told officers he tossed nuts and bolts into the granola bar mix last week at Hearthside Foods in Kentwood so he could "get a break from work."
Investigators said CCTV cameras recorded Gramajo putting the objects into the granola.
