A lot of people must buy frosting (icing) in a can - there are innumerable brands/flavors on store shelves everywhere. Doesn't make it good - just plentiful.

Now here's one I haven't seen mentioned yet - dragees. Who buys them?!? They're those little silver balls that are supposed to be used to decorate cakes. 'jever get one and try to bite it? For the love of all that's holy - DON'T. Those things will crack a molar quicker than you can say "dentist". I was at a wedding once and the cake had dragees in the centers of the frosting roses.
So that's what they're called! I haven't seen those in years. Horrid little things, aren't they.

Hubby buys kippers in a flat tin. Yuck. At least they're fish and I guess they're good for him, maybe, possibly.

Don't get me started on those hellish things. The metallic-finish dragées are considered inedible by the FDA (and me) - those babies will light-up a filling like a 9-volt battery.

Jordan almonds - a dentist had to have invented those and based the design on river pebbles. They can clear-out the teeth from the mouth of an adult.

Beef jerky.
At first I thought it was a doggy treat. Honestly. Do people really eat that?

Or one could say that dog treats were made to look like jerky.

I never thought of it that way. Anyway, my son buys jerky and I eat some once in a while.

I loved those when I was a kid! I bought some recently for decorating a cake and they were much softer than they were when I was a kid, slightly disappointed.
