I have to agree with you . I choose not to drink soda. If you like it that should be your business.

They've had apple slices as a choice for years.

Ask them for a cup (or take a used one out of a self-bus trash bin) and go in the bathroom and fill it with tapwater. Many restaurants have figured out that you are an addicted captive, and will either charge you a quarter for an empty cup or more than a dollar for a single-use landfillable plastic bottle of some other city's tapwater that's been shipped across the country (and maybe the ocean) in a gas-guzzling air-polluting truck.
I almost always drink water when we eat out. I've never been charged for a water cup. And why go to the bathroom to fill up your cup, when water dispenses from the soda machine?

Take a used cup of the trash can?

Yes I know that there are "issues" with energy drinks but unlike sodas they are VERY popular right now among the young heck my own doctor told me recently to take up drinking Red Bull instead of diet sodas " for the sake of your health".

When will leftists learn to mind their own damn business?

I never said they were. I said we sell PowerAde never said it was an energy drink.

Seems to me that they all serve Tea (made from instant granules, full of caffeine and heavily sweetened with either HFCS or an artificial sweetener). The op's complaint is legitimate, though, I have a friend who has analyzed the fountain choices, and every one of them contains sugar and/or caffeine.
A used cup from the trash bin??? Gross!!! Why would you even consider that???

Why would anyone want fewer choices? What people eat and drink is their choice ... no one else's business. Some people want to smoke, others want soda pop ... live and let live.

I think you might want to find another doctor. I cannot believe any good doctor would recommend Red Bull. (Yes, get off those diet sodas, they are horrible for your health.) H2O is a good choice for a beverage

Restaurants are not concerned about your health. The are concerned about the $.

I am pretty sure people already know that, they choose to ignore the information.
