Green tea ice cream is nice, but I loved ginger ice cream when I had it at a Japanese tea room.

Red bean paste and green tea flavored ice cream can also be found at most Thai and Japanese restaurants in NYC.

There is a fairly popular Mexican ice cream shop here that has some different flavors, such as:

Chai Tea (never tried it)
Horchatta (a Mexican drink made from rice milk, cinnamon and sugar)
Mexican Chocolate Chipotle (quite good)
Sweet Corn (never tried it)

The flavors I've had there are tasty, although the ice cream itself is a little grainy.

I've been obsessed with taro lately. I get taro ice cream bars, taro buns and taro smoothies when I go to my Asian market here.

I grew up in Florida so I miss the tropical fruits ice cream/smoothies like mamey. When I go to Florida, I have one every day.

I love pistachio and can rarely find it unless I source from more expensive specialized Italian makers-Talenti. Then it is sorbet.

What is the blue ice cream they serve in the Philippines? I forgot the name of the fruit. That's one of the best-tasting ice creams I ever had.

We have lots of ice cream shops with wacky flavors: saffron, rosewater, earl grey, cardamon, avocado, whiskey, cornflakes, cocao nibs....

There's a little gas station/diner near Roosevelt Lake in Arizona that makes prickly pear fruit ice cream. It is delicious!

I make lavender and honey ice cream at home every summer with our farm raised ingredients, it's become a tradition

I was in China a few years ago and a Dairy Queen there was advertising their typical vanilla soft serve - only with broccoli inside of it (actual pieces of broccoli, not broccoli flavor)
