I've been looking for recipes to make in the hot summer and thought of Cobb salad. This guy popped up in a Youtube search and gives a lot of basic instructions for beginners on lots of recipes.

I just learned that I have been cooking my eggs the wrong way, so even those of us more advanced cooks could benefit.

Started cooking a little at home. First real job after turning 16 (I am 52) was at McDonalds. Learned quite a bit. "Clean as you go" was one motto that I still use today. Rotaing stock was also taught as was safe food handling practices.

Also worked at Seafood Shanty (a local chain in Philly (USA) area). Here I learned about things like not cross contaminating cooked and raw seafood, staging a meal depending on how long items too to prep and cook, and more cleaning as you cook.

Both great experinces...

Mike
