Lots of Chinese buffets around here. Two of them are HUGE, and as the above poster mentioned, have rather mediocre (it's all decent, but none of it is "good") food that ranges from Chinese-American to American. There's one Chinese buffet that my husband and I love to go to...it's been here for years and is much smaller, but the food is way way better.
There is also a Southern buffet at this place called The Bread of Heaven. It's ran by a church and is sooo good. There's all kinds of soul food...fried chicken, BBQ chicken, meatloaf, baked mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, rice, meatballs in brown gravy, banana pudding, cobblers...oh my heavens, can you tell I love it there?
Plus, your standard pizza buffets.
Oh lkmax - I want to go to that Southern buffet - it sounds delicious!
Coastal SC, so tons of seafood buffets. We only eat at one that we found to be very neat and clean. (This area has a dubious health inspection system.) And Golden Corral, which is new to me. Love that place!
I'd kill for a decent Chinese buffet, or any edible Chinese food. This seems to be common complaint among all the northern transplants. If anyone ever opened a good Asian/Chinese restaurant they'd have a goldmine.
Pizza Hut still has an all you can eat buffet, however it's only available during lunch 11-1 most of the time. If you get lucky and stumble in on a Friday night after some high school or college ballgame that the team reserved it, you can cash in on the value then too. Otherwise it's menu order only...
That depends on the franchisee. Some do offer the pizza buffet for lunch. Many do NOT.
the Chinese Buffet is my favourite! they have Dim Sum, Frogs Legs, Roast Duck, Roast Pork w / crispy skin , pig's feet, fried Tilapias, crabs, fried Smelt fish, Sushi, Korean BBQ , ribs, Teriyaki chicken on a stick, etc
they also have a Japanese Teppanyaki / Mongolian barbecue style grill and you pick the type of meats noodles, etc and they cook it for you.
