For the people out there that can actually cook, if you were going to prepare your specialty for me, what would it be?

I make a wonderful meatloaf that family and friends love - I make a pretty good chicken enchilada too.

Prime rib, Yorkshire Pudding, and broccoli w/cheese sauce. French Silk Pie for dessert.

I love a good meatloaf, so as long as it isn't too dry.

Can't go wrong with prime rib, and broccoli with cheese sauce sounds good!

It depends on what you are hungry for as to what I would make you and what season it is.

I've actually never had venison, is it anything like cow's meat?

I admit I am a fairly pedestrian American cook. Where I do shine is cooking certain ethnic cuisines. So if I was wanting to impress you and get a chance to eat my favourite dishes that I make it would be my maqluba.
This recipe is pretty close to how I make it Kitchen of Palestine - Maqluba With Eggplant and Lamb
For dessert it would have to be my pavlova. It's very pretty, tastes great (no false modesty here) and its pretty much the only dessert I make.

My specialty is soup, but it is too hot today to think about using the stove. I would make smoked shrimp and scallop ceviche with tortilla chips and gazpacho.

We love our Tawainese Minced pork with stewed eggs. Or I would make a Cuban marinated for three days pork shoulder with all the usual sides of rice and beans, garlicky yuca, tostones, avocado/tomato salad etc.
