Oh man. Homemade pizza is the bomb if you make it right. Nice puffy crust, lots of filling and baked to perfection. It's almost unfair that it's cheaper.

I will try it with the lower carb tortillas. I am really a thick crust girl, but I'm really trying to cut out flour and sugar in my diet, so I'll give it a go. I will probably use a jar of Mid's pizza sauce. Sometimes I make pizza sauce with a can of tomato paste and a can of diced tomatoes, but I usually go with the lazy way.
I use a lot of vegetable toppings and pre-cooked diced chicken (leftovers, or a breast that I grilled just for the pizza). I also use either jarred spaghetti sauce (I like Prego or Classico), or basil pesto and I smear it very thinly on the crust. My favorite combination is pesto with chicken, chopped artichoke hearts, and sundried tomatoes with a pizza blend shredded cheese.
