I deliberately let them get black and them just stick them-peel and all- in the freezer. When they thaw just squish them out of the peeling and they are ready for baking. has anybody tried this? Looks too good to be true.

The concencus on YouTube from growers is the it was a fresh banana that was placed in the fridge which turns it black. So the process would only work for those and not for aged bananas.

It was a cool video though. If it had worked I'd consider using that treatment on myself

I store bananas and avocados in the fridge when they get to perfect ripeness.
