I ate a lot of crap as a kid, basically 'cuz my mother couldn't cook. She had 3 older sisters, so never learned. And my dad didn't care...
Spam. Hamburger Helper. White bread. Cold cereal. Hostess anything. TV Dinners. Well...you get the picture.
I used eat Vienna sausage as a kid. I loved them with a1 sauce on them. I tried them a few years after not eating them for about 20 years. wow I cant believe I used to eat those things. talking about fing nasty.lol

I now no longer eat ketchup on green beans, king syrup mixed with peanut butter on white bread sandwiches, or anything with that fake cheese stuff (kraft mac and cheese, doritos, cheez whiz, etc).
When I was a kid, I used to sprinkle sugar on orange halves. !!! It's not that I didn't like oranges or didn't think they were sweet enough; I just would that once in a while. I guess I took the grapefruit concept and ran with it, lol.
I grew up on the American diet like most people. Now, not at all. Nothing resembles then, except maybe the vegies, but now they're covered w/ olive oil, etc. Then, it was probably butter or the dreaded margarine (w/ trans fats). I knew then, however, that it was bad, cuz it tasted so waxy and unnatural.
