we are getting ready to buy our first cows for beef, we have been raising our own chickens forever, its incredible, the difference in taste!

Does that mean you have to kill the chickens yourself? I'd have to go vegetarian.

I had a really hard time with it at first, DH does it for me, and cleans them. I still cant be around when they go, but the difference in the quality of meat and eggs is amazing. We are saving the feathers for comforters.
