even though we aren't football fans we like to watch super bowl for the commercials plus DH bought a box in a football pool at work. I am making loaded nachos with homemade chili, shredded cheese, olives and sour cream, chicken wings.

Hot wings, nachos, beer. Oh and Alton Brown's guacamole. Every time I've made it, people exclaim "oh you made guacamole" and it goes in a flash.

Go Pats! Hope it's a good game.

Nothing too, too fancy. But, the "boys" want the following -

Spinach and artichoke dip, Deep Fried onion rings coated with ground Tostito chips, deep fried, Buffalo Shrimp, blue cheese dressing, potato chips, nachos, home made ranch, vegetable crudites, (which I am guessing will be uneaten)

Pizza delivered from a mom and pop shop.

Brownies. Ice Cream. Chocolate sauce.

We are having all finger foods: buffalo wings, mini pizzas, veggies and hummus, and fruit kabobs soaked in brandy.
Those fruit kabobs sound so good! What fruit do you use? Do you grill hem?

VIP passes to a block party with a huge outdoor screen.

Nothing tastes better than free wings and beer.

Lightly steamed asparagus (if available)
Cheddar brats with whole grain buns (kraut optional)
pulled pork sliders
Stuffed mushrooms (vegetarian)
Guacamole and bean dip with Doritos (this is a Super Bowl necessity around here)
Spring rolls for the two vegetarians
Beer, hard lemonade, chardonnay, little ball drinks, coffee, soda, juice

I love the gathering more than the actual game and we especially enjoy the football pools and betting games, etc...

Go Eagles!

Last edited by settled00; 02-03-2018 at 10:22 PM.. Reason: removed veggie tray and added asparagus

Ha!!! My wife just told me the Super Bowl is tomorrow. I had no idea. I suppose I should go find out which two teams are playing this year.
