I picked up a 12 pack of Diet Coke with Splenda, it tasted flat to me. I usually buy Diet Vanilla Coke and I'm never disappointed. Which diet cola do you drink?

I would never use anything with Splenda. It has shown to cause high blood pressure in many people. I usually drink carbonated water that is flavored. It has 0 calories and 0 sugar, but is less boring than plain water.

Splenda gives me the cotton mouth feeling, I feel even more thirsty after drinking anything with Splenda in it. I avoid it at all cost now. I only drink sweetened coffee, with natural sugar. No artificial anything for me.

Doctors say that it is bad for men and women both to drink carbonated beverages after the age of 50..in which category I joined years ago..saying that said carbonation causes damage to the bladder.

I recall reading an article in a medical journal (when I was living in Massachusets where a lot of great medical centers are) and even here in NBC the physicians are saying the same thing.

Our family physician believes that all substitutes are worthless and using less sugar is better than any sugar substitute. She strongly recommends drinking water or tea with meals.

Just my two cents.

I really try to stay away from anything with artificial ingredients, but I do have a weakness for regular Coke, dont like the diet, it always tasted strange.
