I like Carls Jr., but they closed the one near me. I'd have to drive 40 minutes to get to one.

We have Hardee's here instead of Carl's Jr, and their mushroom and swiss burger is BOSS. I love it lol.

I grew up in MA and for whatever reason the whole region hates fast food chains. When I lived there your burger choices were McDonalds, BK or Wendy's. I think they have had some Sonics and Five Guys trickle in recently. But I moved to CA 10 years ago which is the complete opposite where we have In N Out, Habit, Fatburger, Tommy's Original, Carls Jr, Jack in the Box, etc etc

But when it comes down to McD vs Carls, Carls wins hands down just because of the variety of burgers. I do still love McD fries but Carls fries are better since they went to natural cut. But for me living in CA, I have no real reason to go to either since I can usually find an In N Out or Habit close by

Apparently mold & bacteria doesn't like Mcdonald's burger.

Carl's Jr, I've never even had it before..
McDonalds just makes me feel like I ate rocks..

I'm not all against fast food in moderation, my body just doesn't process McD's or BK like it once did..
I don't notice this with other fast food burger/fry places I've been to..

very smart choice: no comparison, but unfortunately some of us live where InNOut hasn't moved entered the market.

I don't think I have been to McDonalds more than three or four times in the past 10 years. I used to like Carl Jrs but again, they are not here in AR and I am not a huge fast food person anyway. I am guessing if they were here I would try one again.

Not all that was bad, but they focused back on the burgers. Remember the chicken? That was actually pretty good (I LOVED their peach cobbler)
Are you saying all of these were cut from the menu at one time? All of these items (minus the roast beef) are on the current menu.

It depends on what I want at the time.
Here we have Hardee's, and I like their mushroom/swiss burger
However, sometimes I get a yen for a double quarter pounder with cheese, so I go to McD's.
For breakfast, I really like the "Big Breakfast with Pancakes" at McD's.
Unless I am REALLY hungry, then I go to the Play Inn for biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns and eggs!

Carl's Jr. is pretty good. They have a diverse menu. The fish tacos are good and fish sandwich...I haven't had a burger there in forever but the place where I live is really clean and has a nice atmosphere for fast food.

I don't normally eat fast food but I did a few times not too long ago.

McDonalds, is really pretty bad but I was raised on it and I love the Quarter Pounder with Cheese. That is the only thing I would every eat there, and they make the best french fries of any fast food place ever invented.

That is all. I cannot choose, for they are both special in their own way.
