I enjoy medium rare beef liver and onions, but I'm having a really tough time finding fresh beef liver where I live. All the shops have is frozen and that doesn't cut it.
However, I can easily find pork liver in the Asian grocery. How different does it taste? And it's PORK - can I eat it medium rare?
I only buy liver to feed one person for one dinner. To ask a store to order it for that veryeoccasional and small purchase is unreasonable. So is driving out to the country to visit a slaughterhouse. I've searched and used my local CD forum to find that the nearest shop that sells it fresh is 32 miles away.

Does the pork liver taste different?
I am not a liver lover.
My dad stated there was a big difference and he only wanted pork liver.
He stated beef liver tasted "sweet" to him and thus he wouldn't eat beef liver.
