As well as 10-15 options from both the Coke and Pepsi line.

I also have only ever seen cherry or vanilla as the only to flavors to add. The freestyle machines have lime, orange, raspberry, strawberry, peach, grape, lemon.... I've never seen orange Coke or raspberry coke offered at QT or Circle K.

I heard that the larger Freestyle machines offer up to 140 drink choices. I prefer Pepsi products so those drink choices are not for me.

What I like though is that Pepsi is in the game with the new Spire and it offers 1,000 drink choices. Also the Spire is smaller, cost less money to make, uses the more well known syrup bags instead of the cartridges that Coke uses in the Freestyle machines. All that makes the machine cheaper for the retail location allowing more machines for each store. Pizza Rev only has room for a single machine in our area. If they were to switch to Spire they could probably get a couple more machines and the drink choices are more than 7 X greater than the Freestyle machines.

I think all new Wendy's get them, and I think Firehouse Subs all have them and Zaxby's and Five Guys. Of course.. Your mileage may vary.

I don't notice any difference in taste.. Of course, I normally get Cherry Vanilla Mr Pibb from them, so I probably wouldn't notice if horse semen were added in along with it.

I will agree with the people who get behind a kid.. I saw one kid at one do about a 25 flavor suicide.. Took one sip and poured it out and tried another 25 flavors.

I've always wanted to access the programming menu on it..

Pepsi.. Ok.. I despise Pepsi.. I was in Vegas a month or so ago, and if another person had asked me "Is Pepsi OK" there was going to be a fight.

pour half a cup. then spill it out to clear out any remnants from the previous choice. Now you've got pure coke.

Seltzer/club soda/soda water are no longer offered in those machines in my area. I normally like to dilute my drink so I don't get so much HFC (high fructose corn syrup) but still want some hint of coke or ginger ale.

Is it too much to ask for a plain Coke and nOT one that tastes like Dr. Pepper and cherry? Just give me a damn Coke, no flavors, no BS. A plain Coke. Ugh.
I've never had one of these machines give me anything other than what I pressed.

The OP was pointing out that the Freestyle machine's spout has residue on it from the previous drink that was dispensed. No matter what you choose and pour, you will also receive (at no added charge) that bit of flavor you did NOT want. As others have already said, you will need to stop this from happening by sending a brief spurt of drink through, then pouring that ("contaminated") part out, then dispensing what you want.
