Meatloaf, anything with loads of mayonnaise, weird exotic foods like pig's feet or Balut. Most everything at family reunions are disgusting (potato salad, cottage cheese, baked beans, list goes on and on).
The food itself doesn't bother me, but I'll dry heave if I see people chewing mouth agape wide open. I had to leave a Boy Scout banquet one time- several adults were just shoveling in and smacking those jaws wide open. Barf
Never bothers me to see people eat regardless of what it is. And I've seen 'gross' things. Only thing that might bother me are bad table manners as another poster said.
Oh and if I'm eating something distasteful, please don't tell me how you don't like it or say eeeew.
After reading this thread and seeing how many people "feel like puking" when other people eat normal foods like mayonnaise, eggs, oatmeal, cheese, etc. - well, I can't help but thinking that there are more food disorders in our world than we realize. The shrinks are gonna get rich!
Oatmeal and other hot cereals. That's the only one I can think of, and it's purely visual. It looks slimy and goopy to begin with, and then people pour milk in it to make it slurpy...just ugh.
Ha! We had hot, homemade oatmeal with raisins and walnuts and a bit of brown sugar with milk just this morning, as we do most mornings.
My dad and sister enjoy eating cheese and mayonnaise sandwiches. Nothing else included, just cheese and mayonnaise between two slices of bread. MMM! (Yuck!)
Also, nachos with cheese and olives and whatever else. That only reminds me of what comes back out a few hours later...
And cereal with milk because I had to watch my stepbrother eat it and then look at me with the milk dripping from his lower lip. Every morning for years on end. So I don't eat cereal with milk anymore. Dry cereal and milk separately are ok, just not together.
And cottage cheese. And pickle loaf, olive loaf... That's all I can think of for now.
