One time when I was dating a farmer's son I rode the corn truck early in the morning. They delivered fresh corn to the farm stands and then to the grocery stores. Same corn! But I never have bought corn in the grocery store. It doesn't seem right.

Either you pick it yourself and get it into the fridge right away or you get it from a farm stand and get it home ASAP. Somehow I still think the corn in the grocery store could have been there for days.

I love Haagen Dazs french vanilla for a brand. Favorite flavors: root beer, spumoni, cherry custard. And Trader Joes has a great ice cream sandwich- vanilla in between 2 great, chewy choco chip cookies...
Cold Stone Creamery is good for a parlor. I've heard about Culver's, & when I get to a place that has one, I'm aimin for that frozen custard
My favorite ice cream flavor is pistachio. But I also love vanilla ice cream sandwiches.

Trader Joe's coffee and Breyer's strawberry. Yum! Oh, and Mexican paletas (coconut, strawberry)

Coffee has been my favorite flavor as long as I can remember, before I even liked coffee. When I'm in the mood for something with "stuff" in it, I'm a big rocky road fan.

In second place, Toffee crunch. I have been known to buy extra candy to put in the ice-cream.
