If it's available in your area, try Turkey Hill. Love their coffee ice cream - it's intensely coffee flavored. All their varieties are very good.

Häagen-Dazs any thing is wonderful. It's best store bought icecream imo. I've tried Talenti and thought it was ok. I don't care for Ben and Jerry's.

I really like turkey hill ice cream when my husband eats it I only get a spoonful because of the lactose and I don't get along very well but my husband says it is awesome .

I'm glad to see Jeni's getting plenty of love in this thread. They always have a great variety of flavors. Yes, it's pricey; but since I don't have ice cream too often, I have to treat myself to the best. That's one of the advantages of living around Columbus. One is never too far from a Jeni's store.
