No alcohol with any of our meals, when we eat we generally have iced tea or coffee.

Of course, my consumption probably won't do me much good. An 8 pack of 14 oz. cans can last me two weeks.
Back on topic: Yes, occasionally I drink one with the evening meal. It goes quite well with a chunk of old dead cow and a baked potato!
A 4 pack of Guinness and a baked potato is the perfect 5 course Irish dinner!

Maybe once or twice a week I'll have a beer with dinner. It goes really well with something meaty, like ribs or a burger.

The only alcoholic beverage I partake of is beer, and occasionally if I'm having dinner at a pizza place, Tex-Mex cantina or a fish house I will order a draft beer. I only drink draft beer never anything from a can.

Beer goes well with certain foods, so yes; we do enjoy beer with meals on occasion. At other times, we enjoy wine. Still others, water or unsweetened iced tea.

We do not drink sugary drinks - soda pop etc.

ETA - I also use beer in cooking.

There is a bit of a new trend of picking different brews that best compliment the meal you are having much the same as picking the right wine. I can't drink beer at meal times. The carbonation mixing together with food is uncomfortable.

Nope. I have a beer occasionally, with a burger at lunch, but I'm not much of a beer person.

The right stout makes good ice cream. Let it go flat, add a bit to your favorite vanilla ice cream recipe (with quality vanilla or vanilla beans - don't skimp on vanilla) in place of an equalivilent amount of cream up to but no more than an eighth of total volume in your recipe and mix.

A little stout goes a long way toward flavor and complexity of the ice cream.
