Another vegetable I don't like but wish I did -- beets. To me they taste like dirt. I know I must be preparing them wrong. Any ideas?
Ok, maybe you are just genetically programmed to not like them. If you cut them into chunks, place them on a baking sheet, sprinkle with salt, and drizzle them with olive oil to coat, and bake at 425 degrees until tender. NOW, if you don't like them, then that's OK, its not your fault.
There are a lot of people who do not like the sweetest vegetables, like carrots, sweet potatoes, beets, parsnips, etc. which to most of us does not make sense at all.
