I'm making steaks (filets), and mashed potatoes formed into a heart (using a heart cookie cutter) and sprinkled with paprika along with romaine salad (with blue cheese, cranberries and pecans).
For dessert I'm baking a fudge/chocolate chip cookie brownie. The outer edges will be the fudge brownie and the center will be the chocolate chip cookie shaped in a heart. (I'm cheating and using one of those box mixes that comes with both but shaping it into a hearth rather than blobs).

I made baby back ribs, loaded baked potato, mac and cheese, salad, baked beans, french bread and for dessert I made a chocolate cake, cup cakes, lemon bars and sugar cookies.
That was for the hubby and four kids too.

Default Valentines Dinner, would do you make that is super special?

I love to pamper hubby and every valentines I make a extra special meal, which means that I crack open all my cook books and order special items for the menu. It is usually something that requires a lot of components and prep work and plenty of planning ahead.

I still haven't figured out my menu but working on it. But would love to hear your ideas since still in the planning stages.

If you do cook for your SO what do you do to make it a extra special meal?
