I had this disgusting Ribeye last night from a Seattle restaurant that cost $49 (fatty and flavorless with a bitter undertaste). I'm overdue for a decent rib eye. Glad to see you're still eating that ice cream, but where are your "mmmmmm''

What?!?! You still paid for it? The bitterness could come from them seasoning it with garlic powder and/or onion powder before searing. When that powder burns it gets bitter. I did that once with scallops.
