I love it, but I substitute mashed banana for the mustard.

A woman we were visiting on a summer road trip once made us peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to take with us. When we opened them we found they had lettuce and tomatoes in them. When I was a kid, I did often eat mustard sandwiches, just mustard on bread open faced.

I will take my peanut butter with butter, jam or plain, but OMG not mustard for heavens sake. God will get all of you who think that is something we should even try.

What kind of cheese? Not that I want to try this, but I can see some cheeses being better than others in this combo. And I assume you layer the cheese onto the jelly not the PB?
