Also wanted to add that if you Google "homemade bistro boxes" you'll probably come up with some additional ideas

Nuts are always awesome, some days I'll have tortilla chips with fresh salsa and guacamole, veggies and hummus, peanut or other nut butters, sun flower seeds.

I like cheese and crackers as a snack meal.

I'm big into salad for lunch because I know how much I like to snack. Sometimes I will cut up pieces of mozzarella, sliced onion, cucumber, basil, cherry tomatoes and throw it together with some balsamic vinegar and oil, salt and pepper sort of like a Caprese salad.

I like pieces of lettuce coated with a slather of Laughing Cow cheese wrapped around cucumber and red bell pepper sliced lengthwise. I also like a couple of slices of lunch meat wrapped around sting cheese and cucumber.

Jrz, I usually prefer that type of meal.

Little tastes of various light things. Cheese, fruit, English muffin with preserves, cucumber, bell pepper, hummus, strawberries, salami, pepperoni, olives, dips, etc.

Then once in a while I cravery a really heavy meal.

I pretty much live off of snacks when left to my devices. But my husband is kind of nanny/mom-like, so he insists that we eat proper nutritious 'real meals', at least for dinner.

Add different whole natural unsealed nuts and different kinds of hard cheeses.

Romaine no mayo tuna wraps. I like mine with EVOO, balsamic vinegar, chopped hard boiled eggs, sweet pickles, roasted pickled red bell peppers and French fried onions for my Catlick Meal on Friday during lent.

Are you getting them at a standard or specialty store - and are they several to a pack or singlets? I must have them!

I get them in 1.5# bags at the 99 Only store. They are grown in Western Mexico and are generally available pretty much year-round.

Tortilla chips, canned black beans and some salsa. Bonus points for corn and avocado. The beans and salsa are a perfect dip.

Also look for Persian cucumbers. They are small and extra crispy.

Avocado toast is another one of my faves.
