when no one has gone grocery shopping............... I'm rolling up ham and turkey and munching on that.
I do that too! And will occasionally smear some cream cheese in there with cut up green onions! I always add a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning, too.
A friend of mine at work actually made a variety plate of these for a potluck that we had for someone's bday.
She did sourcream in some with a single gherkin pickle, a bit of mayo & onions in some, a single piece of gouda cheese, just an array of goodies!
mmmmm that sounds good! I will occasionally make turkey roll-ups with a smidgeon of mayo with a sprinkle of Cholula seasoning and some white cheese of any kind. I do love my turkey roll-ups!
Oh, LOL! The peanut butter 'suckers' as we called them as kids. My Mother would get so mad with us, if she caught us in the kitchen with a spoonful of peanut butter -- on one of her huge cooking spoons, no less! Now that I buy the peanut butter, I'll do it, but in the interest of my ever-expanding waistline, try to refrain. . .
The summer I worked in an ice cream shoppe, I got hooked on mixing peanut butter with a warmed chocolate sauce (Hershey's works fine at home) in a small saucepan over a low burner, for peanut butter cup sundaes. Makes a great topping over a number of ice cream flavors.
Sometimes I will make haystacks - melt some good quality chocolate, toss in quick cooking oats, and peanut butter. Drop on cookie sheets and let them "setup", or put in 8x8 and cut squares when cool.....super easy and super yummy and really not too bad for you

That sounds soo yummy! I'm wishing I hadn't read this post because I am so tempted to try this, but I know I would be addicted!
What does that mean? Love the expression -- funny! BUT what DO it mean?
