I'm the only one that eats it - my kids don't care for fudge, and my husband doesn't eat sweets at all.

It's my one daily indulgence during the work week.
This really made me smile.

One thing I've noticed about what we keep around that we've made pretty much always, is that it is a VERY small quantity of consistent things. What I mean is, over the last holiday season, I was craving cheeseball - I probably had a cheeseball in one state or another in the fridge for three months - now, nothing. I don't want it. Same with the filling for cheese bread - I'd always have a tub of that sitting around ready - that lasted a few months, now nothing. The cucumber salad someone mentioned above - same thing. Once I've had my fill of something, it tends to go out of "rotation" for AWHILE.

I'll never lose my craving for cookie dough fudge. The bites are so small - 1 inch cubes - that I don't get overwhelmed by having one piece a day.

Hummus - so useful for so many things.

Frozen shredded chicken and/or pork from the crockpot - I usually make a ton at a time and freeze about half of it for later use.

Salad dressing and/or the supplies needed to make a wide variety of salad dressings - like hummus, useful for many things.

Other than that, there's not a lot that's homemade/perishable I keep around constantly - there's just two of us in the house and a lot of things would go bad too quickly. I'm also a devotee of meal-planning so I always know what I need to keep around weekly and don't usually have a lot of excess.

Only one thing, and that's homemade granola. I keep it in the freezer to mix with fruit and yogurt.

Mostly just meals in the freezer. Bison chili with black beans and sweet potatoes and chicken ratatouille are my "go to" meals. Sometimes a zucchini "noodle" dish I've made -generally sausage/meat with a sauce and mozzarella balls, and other veggies thrown in.

We always have salad fixings on hand to throw something together.

A pitcher of Arnold palmer half lemonade and half sweet tea and maybe a few cans of cold fruit and cottage cheese . I usually keep some cheese cubes too .

Oatmeal raisin muffins... almost the same recipe as the cookies but with more flour and less (perceived) guilt since it's a cookie not a muffin

I try to make my main entrees on Sunday for the week.

It's my goal to make a version of bean dip and a version of salsa on Sundays too.
