I'm interested also. Want one for Christmas but I'm not buying it for myself.

I got mine over the summer and I love it. I don't use it as much as some people but I use it at least a couple of times a week, which I consider a lot for a small specialty appliance. I've already got several things that I can't imagine cooking any other way now, it's so convenient.

The one caveat is that it's not as "instant" as it sounds - it takes a while to come up to pressure and then for the pressure to release afterwards. So something that "cooks" for 5 minutes could take more like 20 when all is said and done. But during that 20 minutes, you don't have to do anything - no watching, no stirring, no pot boiling over, etc. So it feels much more effortless even if it's not amazingly fast.

Bought one a month ago IP-LUX 6qt , love it don't know why I never bought it sooner, its fantastic. Most things that I cook stew chili rice small roasts black beans etc take 30min or less in one pot time saver it can take up to 12 min to get to pressure depending on what your cooking I'm looking forward to buying another one 8QT

buy a new gasket for your pressure cooker

I bought one and still haven't used it, lol. I don't know what to really make in it for 2 people without having a ton of leftovers...

I have one and love it. I got rid of our rice cooker and slow cooker, so I saved room and gained a pressure cooker. We live in a rice-centric state, so when it was ready in like 7 minutes it is the equivalent to a Christmas miracle.
