Wasn't exactly a cheap meal, either. Thanks for sharing!

I don't believe it was one of Gordon's restaurants. His name was just mentioned.

They're lucky their soup didn't taste like urine

Maybe I'm whacked, but I took the cost (284.68) and multiplied it by 1.7 (I don't even know what the conversion rate is any more) and got roughly USD484. Divide that by 8 people and I got 60 bucks each. That's a pricey meal by Tampa's standards...even with vanity drinks!

I wonder if that was the waitstaff messing with the kitchen? While kinda funny, thats crazy that it ended up printing. I doubt that was them playing with the customers. I worked in a restaurant for years and yes, good advice is don't complain. If you have a bad experience, bad meal, etc, And you dont see it as a fluke, just find somewhere else! And to not comp that bill is a HORRIBLE manager...

I've had that happen before. I was a server at the time and we would send special instruction messages back to the kitchen. Sometimes we would just randomely send a funny one just to screw with the kitchen. Well i didn't know that some would show up on the bill. Luckily, I caught it before I handed it to the customer. Phew! Close one.
