All my cast iron. It's unwieldy, labor intensive to keep operational, high maintenance, takes up a ton of room to store, and is generally not worth the hassle. I didn't even bother to unbox it after our latest move.
I finally got rid of the rice cooker, the immersion blender, the Foreman grill, the hand-cranked pasta machine with 47 parts that had to be assembled before using, and the slow cooker with a nonremovable insert.
I did replace the slow cooker with a more easily washable version. Everything else was for me pretty useless.
My rice cooker and immersion blender are two of my favorite kitchen items. I use the rice cooker 2 or 3 times a week, and the immersion blender allows me to control the consistency of the sauces I make better than a regular blender.
This mandoline-style cutter I thought would be great. In an effort to make it safe, the manufacture made it almost impossible to use and the size of the vegetable has to be so small to fit... I think its Pampered chef...
The giant, bulky rotisserie that we received from my husband's grandparents. While I do like the chickens and such that it produces, it is a PITA to use and clean. And store. Harrumph. I need to "accidentally" drop that thing...in a trash can...LOL.
The toaster. In general, I don't care for toast. Believe it or not, I still have the same toaster that I was given as a gift for my first wedding in 1975! It used to come out of the closet when my dad visited. But now we save it for when we do home exchanges.
On those rare occasions that I need to toast bread or bagels, we use the convection toaster oven (which is used as a small oven regularly).
but if it weren't for the husband insisting we keep it, it'd be in the trash in two seconds.

Hmm, I think I'm beginning to see a pattern here, but what could it be....
