Andrew Zimmern was at it again last night on his show Bizzare Foods (Travel Channel). His new season started last night with an episode from Beijing China and it wasn't long before he was eating some fried bugs, grasshoppers and seahorses on a stick. The guy amazes me. Next week I think he's in Iceland. I can just imagine what he'll eat there , perhaps some jellied moose tail

What gets me is the fact that these two guys don't just go out and say "hmmmmmmm, I wonder what roasted pigs eyes and spleen might taste like, maybe I'll give it a try". The stuff they eat are foods that people eat in those countries. I'm adventurous as well, but I have boundaries.
my hubby is japanese, and as such- eats many foods i think are icky- but that is one i absolutely will NEVER eat!
(its fermented spicy cabbage, for those who don't know)
