I made a lovely red and green bell pepper shell pasta salad recipe from my childhood today, to take to a party tomorrow.

Dinner was bagel sandwiches (ham, salami, swiss, lettuce, dijon mustard & mayo) with pasta salad, grapes, and a few potato chips.

Tonight it is chicken quarters in the oven, with the treat of snow I don't think spoiled brat will want to start up the grill. I think we will have roasted veggies as well and a nice fruit salad.

Hockey Night in Canada tonight ...

So it will be finger food. I will make grilled chicken sandwiches marinated in whole grain mustard, dill and olive oil served with lettuce, tomato, onion and dill pickle slices and a bit of grated Canadian cheddar cheese is optional. To drink an assortment of local beer from a brewery.
For a snack I roasted almonds and flavored with black salt as well I roasted chickpeas with Indian spices. For the sweet tooth I have cheese cake with strawberries and a cup of coffee.

Have a nice and relaxing weekend everyone

SO asked for seconds last night?! That does not happen very often.

Mashed garlicky potatoes, stuffed boneless pork chops off the grill (cream cheese, spinach, ham?), red leaf lettuce and celery (who knows but he started eating celery in small quantities - men!).

Crumb cake with red plums and blueberries (crumbs with walnuts patted down as base, fruit, more crumbs; basically a sliceable cobbler).
