was planning on split pea soup which I started yesterday but spoiled brat wants to go out for mexican food and I will never turn down a chance to eat out. So, assuming the weather calms down some (terrible rain and thunder storms right now) we will go out. Otherwise it is split pea soup and dinner out tomorrow night.

Either turkey burgers or Sloppy Toms, to be decided closer to dinner time. And leftover chickpeas.

Happy Friday!

This was last night's dinner ... pot roast in my crock pot, this time using my own veggies instead of the Stouffer's mix I'd used last time ...

My house smelled GREAT for the 6-1/2 hours it took to cook, and it tasted AMAZING! YUM!!

It has to be comfort food today - chicken breast in paprika cream sauce, butter lettuce, some candid walnuts and a bourbon for desert

I can't wait for my Friday work day to end! Tonight we're just having homemade cheese steaks with Worcestershire mayo, sweet potato fries, 2 bottles of Cabernet and the rest of the lemon butter cookies for dessert. Have a fabulous weekend everyone!
