Edited to add: If anyone is interested and can find it in their area. We have recently discovered Farmland Thick Cut Bacon. I do not eat bacon often because it is so salty to me but this bacon I can eat all the time. It is thick cut, fries beautifully, does not take long to fry and it is not over salty.
And another post making me " starving " again! lol

I hope you're well my love and I was wondering if you or anyone else can clear this up for me please.....

Here we have this type of bacon and I was wondering what you would call it? Either by the type of cut it's is or possibly " breakfast bacon "? If you get it there at all?

Over this side of the pond we don't have your " streaky " bacon ( as we call it ) it's the thin strips of bacon that you mentioned about ( googled it lol )

Thank you

Once again, turkey burgers, with steamed broccoli, and maybe zucchini cakes if I have the energy.

For the second night in a row, I had chicken noodle soup with broccoli and 2 eggs added. I liked it that much!

I think so too!! I made a pot roast the day before but I've never added mushrooms or cream of mushroom soup. I'll have to try it Dawn's way. xoxo

We went out for brunch mid-afternoonish, so that was basically my breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had breakfast potatoes, bacon, scrambled eggs, a small waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, a cherry tomato stuffed with tuna salad, Caesar salad, roasted vegetables, two strawberries dipped in chocolate and coffee with half and half.

It's Karen's (Karen_in_NH) way, actually, to add the soup. Very yummy! I'm sure your pot roast was too. I hope that you had a great weekend. XOXO

finally today we are having the split pea soup. I froze 1/2 of it, will turn the crock pot on in awhile so the rest can cook all day. With it we are having only home made sour dough bread a friend makes for us every so often and probably cut up fruit, maybe a few raw veggies.
